…and we’re rolling. For past hour, I’ve been whipping Claude like a racehorse.
I had it build this blog. I prefer a simple blog to a fancy one. My old blog was inspired by Tom Preston-Werner’s. But since then, the low-CSS blog style has become something a status symbol amongst fellow technology brothers. What happens is that a couple of hotshots like Nat Friedman and Daniel Gross come out guns-a-blazing with low-CSS websites. Mimetics, anyone? We tend copy preferences from other people; we keep up with the Joneses. Point in case, there’s just too many simple sites. It feels like the purists’ club has been infiltrated by scenesters. I hate when that happens. As an act of rebellion, I asked Claude to add some pizzazz to the site in an effort to establish some independence of style. We can’t all just sit around copying each other. Some of us have to try and be tastemakers.
Enough malarkey.
My blog is about programming, technology, science, and startups. Perhaps tangential topics, too. Heck, even orthogonal ones.
If any of that interests you, bookmark this site.
